Adoration and Thanksgiving

Years ago, Thanksgiving Day had a strong Spiritual component. Unfortunately, it seems that the more one has, the less thankful one can be. We don’t take time to say thanks to God for His many blessings. This is especially evident in the poor inner city - there is no great wealth or affluence, yet the poor are so grateful to God - they have great songs of praise and thanksgiving. We must also say prayers of Adoration - recognizing that we are mere creatures before Our Creator. “All things pass away, behold, I make all things new.”
